Personnel receiving telephoned threats should attempt to get the exact location where the bomb has been planted, or is going to be planted. 也, attempt to get as much information as possible about the caller, 例如, 男性或女性, 口音, and so listen for any background noise that may indicate the location of the caller. Use the checklist at the end of this section, 炸弹威胁s to help record this information.
完成 炸弹威胁清单 [PDF: 177 kb] as soon as possible after receiving a threatening call and report it immediately to the College Sheriff at extension 2911 from a campus phone or (818) 947-2911 from a cell phone or other off campus phone. An evacuation maybe required. If so, follow the building evacuation procedures.

A suspicious pack年龄 includes any pack年龄, 袋, 盒子, 管, 背包, 手提箱, 大包, virtually anything that could contain an explosive or incendiary device that appears out of place, 或者在你的教室里, 工作区域, or anywhere and you are not sure of what it is or to whom it belongs.
Mailed items may be identified by one, or a combination of any the following:

- Addressed to an area instead of a specific person

- Heavy pack年龄 with excessive amounts of packaging tape or string
- Pack年龄 is leaking or has liquid stains
- Noises emitting from pack年龄
- Pack年龄 does not fit area (i.e.: lunch 盒子 hidden behind 管s)
- Anything about a pack年龄 pertaining to its delivery method, 交货时间, addressee or any other item that arouses suspicion.
IF YOU OBSERVE A SUSPICIOUS OBJECT OR POTENTIAL BOMB ON CAMPUS DO NOT HANDLE OR IN ANY WAY TOUCH THE OBJECT! CLEAR THE AREA AND ONLY WHEN AWAY FROM THE AREA, IMMEDIATELY CALL COLLEGE SHERIFF ON EXTENSION 2911.

No one knows your 工作区域 or what belongs there or is out of place as well as you, as such you may be asked to conduct a search of your area for suspicious pack年龄s. When conducting a search, DO NOT OPEN CABINETS and most importantly should you discover a suspicious pack年龄 DO NOT TOUCH it!
Get yourself and others away from the area and only when away from the area, then immediately call
College Sheriff at extension 2911, (818) 947-2911.
